On-Site Courses

Basic Bible, Theology, Church History and Christian Life for establishing a firm foundation for growing in following Jesus Christ and doing His Kingdom work.  Ideal for the theological formation of church lay-leaders, bivocational missionaries, congregants, new clergy, and anyone wanting to expand or refresh their theological foundations.

This category is aimed towards developing a basic awareness of the promise of the equipping of the Holy Spirit given us by Jesus. It includes three different sets of events:

1. Dunamis Video Courses which can be taken online as a self-study or moderated course or facilitated as a small group event in a congregation.

2. "Ignite for Starting Renewal in Congregations" which are two-day introductory events based on the Dunamis teaching, led by a team.

3. Upward Challenge – Growing young people in empowered service and witness to Jesus Christ.

Since 1991 the primary way that PRMI has been fulfilling its vision initiative of equipping spiritual leaders is through the Dunamis Project.

The fruit has been churches growing deeper in faith and in effective witness to Jesus Christ. There has also been the fruit of many lay people and pastors being called by God into Holy Spirit-empowered ministry that is grounded in scripture and takes part in the ongoing work of Jesus Christ as prophet, priest and king.

The Dunamis Projects are: 
Dunamis I : Gateways to Empowered Ministry: The Person and Work of the Holy Spirit
Dunamis II : In the Spirit’s Power: Cooperating with the Holy Spirit in Doing the Work of Jesus Christ
Dunamis III : The Power of Prayer
Dunamis IV : The Healing Ministry of Jesus Christ
Dunamis V : Spiritual Warfare and Advancing the Kingdom of God
Dunamis VI : Evangelism and Missions in the Power of the Holy Spirit

PRMI fulfills the vision for equipping leaders through the Dunamis Project tracks that are conducted in various strategic locations.  The purpose of the Advanced Ministry Courses is to take people further in knowledge and practical application in specific areas of cooperation with the Holy Spirit than is possible with the Dunamis Project. The goal is to raise up well-equipped Holy Spirit empowered leaders.

The Dunamis Project equipping events are open to all who may wish to attend. The Advanced Ministry Courses, however, require the completion of a simple application form and acceptance into the course.  Please contact the PRMI office for more details.
